This is an awesome picture of the Kitt car from the show Knight Rider. The car you see before you is a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. I love the vents on the side of the Mustang, the wheels also look neat! It's too bad Hollywood canceled the show because the Kitt Mustang was just cool as hell looking!

This was the new age Kitt car from the new show Knight Rider. The show didn't really last that long, it ran for one season then called it quits. The car they used as Kitt was a Shelby GT500KR Mustang. As you can see the show wasn't short in the car department, what really canceled the show was the acting and the directing. The plot was ok, it starred Justin Bruening as Mike Traceur, the estranged son of Michael Knight. Mike becomes the new champion of Knight Industries, a high tech government and law enforcement contractor. He starts to fight crime just like in the old 80s show, but it doesn't have the thrill. It's too bad because using the Shelby GT500KR Mustang as the main star was very cool!

Check out this gorgeous Saleen Mustang, I would never think pink would look so good on a Ford Mustang. This is actually Steve Saleen daughter's Mustang, the picture was taken a long time ago, so we're not sure if she still owns it. The pink Saleen Mustang was dubbed the Molly Pop Mustang, cute huh? The Molly pop is a one off custom paint job, but then again Saleen specializes in offering their clientele cars painted in whatever color their heart desires.

The La Auto Show was the debut location of the 2011 Q550 Streetfighter edition Mustang. This custom edition Mustang is packing 550 horsepower under the hood. To achieve this amount of horsepower Steeda has slapped on a Whipple supercharger. Other mods on this Q550 Mustang is a Steeda suspension, custom Steeda grille, and a custom Steeda interior. This muscle car is a real sleeper, other than the custom hood and wheels you wouldn't be able to tell this Mustang has 550 horsepower under the hood. What an amazing looking muscle car!

Scuff plates are a quick and easy modification to do to the Ford Mustang. With just flick of the wrist, you can make the interior of your Ford Mustang look unique with these custom scuff plates. They aren't cheap though, expect to pay $200 for a set of custom polished scuff plates.

In this Mustang video a Shelby GT500 Super Snake Mustang races a Nissan GT-R. The Shelby GT500 is making 630 horsepower while the Nissan GT-R is making 485 horsepower. The Shelby GT500 is clearly making more horsepower, but the GT-R's all wheel drive and sticky tires help make the sports car go faster in the 1/4 mile. This was a great Mustang video by Motor Trend.

Get a feel of how much horsepower the new 2011 Mustang V8 is producing in this dyno video from Ford. Just a recap the new 5.0L V8 is making 412 horsepower and 390 foot pounds of torque. Numbers that can easily dip this Ford Mustang in the 12s in the 1/4 mile. I just wonder what the 2011 Mustang GT can top out at, maybe 160mph.

Get a taste of what the 2011 Mustang GT looks like in motion, what I like is the growling catback exhaust coming out back. Other great features in the Mustang video are Brembo brakes and sequential tail lights on the back.

This is offly strange to hear, Shelby Autos have found themselves at the center of a lawsuit. Supposedly Shelby Autos have refused to pay invoices for GT500KR carbon fiber parts delivered back in 2008. The company that manufactured the GT500KR Mustang parts and is suing Shelby is Plasan Carbon Composites.
